Jeff Kingman brings operational, culinary, consulting and managerial experience in brand development, sales, public relations, event and systems ideation/creation, community involvement and the hospitality industry.
His career has spanned the Pacific Northwest, the northern Mountain states and New England, including an chef apprenticeship to internationally competing Chef David Strouts (Portland, OR), hotels (Hyatt Bellevue, Ritz-Carlton Boston and several independents), restaurants ranging from 4-Diamond to Mom'n'Pops, a medium-sized architecture firm, the military and strategic brand consulting. With significant working Executive Chef experience in nine operations and national consulting, Jeff is also active in several community and national groups, including the American Culinary Federation, Share Our Strength, Global Awareness/Local Action and Chefs Collaborative. Jeff also writes food columns for a publishing group and blogs and is very passionate about local farmer/local chef relationships.
The son of two generations of IRS senior executives, Jeff’s original college studies were in accounting, but his true passion is food. A military veteran, Jeff apprenticed to an internationally competing chef for three years in Portland, Oregon, and took a two year sabbatical to study architecture and interior design at Boston Architectural School. Jeff is the proud father of two daughters and now makes his home in Portland, Oregon.
